DL EXPANDS CAPABILITIES
WITH ITS MERGER WITH CALCOAST LABS

DL Labs has expanded its analytical, mechanical and forensic analysis capabilities through its merger with Calcoast Analytical Labs in Emeryville, California. Calcoast Labs is an independent full service materials testing laboratory specializing in the analysis of commercial products such as paints, coatings, sealants and construction materials. Some of the analytical instrumentations available through Calcoast include X-Ray Fluorescence, Atomic Absorption, GC/Mass Spectrometry, Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy/EDX and ATR.

Calcoast is certified by the Los Angeles Department of Buildings and Safety for materials testing, the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for drug analysis, and the California Department of Health Services (ELAP) for hazardous waste analysis. Services include: field sampling, analysis of toxic metals and trace organic contaminants and waste stream effluent monitoring.

Personnel from Calcoast Analytical have extensive capabilities in technical support and expert witness testimony in the fields of coating and materials failure and disputes, slip and fall personal injuries and hazardous materials.
